Investor for Podporozhye

An industrial complex for the processing of quartzite-sandstones will start working in the Podporozhsky region.

The agreement on cooperation in the implementation of the project was signed within the framework of SPIEF-2017 by the Governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko and the General Director of LLC “Rovskoe” Vadim Chuiko.

“It is extremely important for us that the company is registered and will carry out production activities in the Podporozhsky district. Today, this area is the largest by area in the region, but, unfortunately, the most sparsely populated and subsidized. Therefore, the arrival of investments and the creation of more than 200 new jobs in this territory is doubly welcomed by the regional government. We will provide the investor with all the necessary assistance in the implementation of the project, ” the head of the region said during the signing ceremony of the investment contract.

the Complex involves the extraction and processing of raw materials for the production of cube-shaped crushed stone in demand during construction. The volume of investments in the project will amount to 1.8 billion rubles, and more than 200 jobs are planned to be created at the production site.

The products will be delivered to construction, road and infrastructure enterprises of the Leningrad region, St. Petersburg, Moscow and the Moscow region.

LLC “Rovskoye” was recognized as the winner of the competition for the right to use a subsoil plot for the purpose of geological study, exploration and production of quartzite-sandstones at the “Rovskoye-1” subsoil plot located in the Podporozhsky district. The Committee on natural resources of the Leningrad region has issued a license for the use of mineral resources until 2041.
